Their wedding was for them.
A celebration of almost 10 years together.
A day of personal touches such as, Jessica’s handmade wedding dress along with a beautifully crafted bouquet made by her Mom.
Their ceremony was held behind Richard’s family barn, where hand written vows flowed back and forth and then up through an arch made by Jess’ Dad.
It was an event that was filled with love for one another and for friends and family. Acknowledged by glasses filled with homemade lemonade and sangria being raised to thank all who helped and took part in their big day.
A celebration that could be barely contained within the walls of a personally decorated historic barn set on the grounds of Fort Edmonton Park.
Heartfelt speeches spoken through the summer air along with the lovingly embarrassing jokes that only a Mom and Dad could get away with.
A night of dancing was fueled by cakes baked perfectly by friends of the bride filled with summer treats of raspberries or topped with creamy chocolate.
As friends and family laughed among the stars, Jess and Richard’s day was sealed basking in the warmth of an open fire wrapped in each others arms.
Thank you Jess and Richard for showing all that is possible that starts with love.
